Luiz Martins, MSc, PMP, has extensive experience in research and development and project management within the steel industry. Currently serving as an R&D Project Leader at ArcelorMittal France since April 2011, Luiz is responsible for implementing advanced quality management systems. Prior to this, Luiz held positions at Aperam, including Automation Coordinator and Automation Assistant, focusing on automation projects and industrial production line revamping. In addition to industry roles, Luiz has contributed to academia as a professor of Computing Applied to Process Management and Software Engineering. Luiz's educational background includes a Master's degree in Mathematical and Computational Modelling, multiple postgraduate qualifications in software and computational fields, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
