Maarten Jacobs

Maarten Jacobs possesses extensive experience in environmental engineering and key account management, currently serving as a Key Account Manager at ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products since October 2008, focusing on flat products such as coil and heavy plate. Previously, Maarten coordinated a global environmental research and development program aimed at optimizing steel industry by-products management and managed R&D projects for technological and economic optimization of these by-products. Prior roles include Senior Environmental Engineer at NV Afvalzorg Holding, specializing in soil remediation, and Environmental Engineer at Grontmij and NAM BV Assen, where Maarten worked on multi-disciplinary soil management projects and business strategic models for groundwater remediation. Maarten holds a Bachelor of Environmental Sciences degree from Hogeschool Holland.
