Michael Timmermans

Michael Timmermans has extensive experience in finance and management within the steel industry, currently serving as the CFO at ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions since 2012. Previously, Michael held the position of General Manager Finance & Controlling at the same company from 2007 to 2011. Prior experience includes roles such as Controlling Manager and Integration Manager at Aperam, where Michael worked from 1995 to 2006, and Accounting & Tax Manager at Philips from 1993 to 1995. Michael's academic background includes advanced degrees from prestigious institutions, such as a Master Class in Corporate Finance from Vlerick Business School and a Master in Internal Auditing from Antwerp Management School.
