Min Kuo is a Scientist at ArcelorMittal US, specializing in automotive lightweighting through advanced high-strength steel (AHSS) design and application. Min has held the position of Automotive Program Manager at ArcelorMittal since 2003, engaging in project management, advanced technology development, and manufacturing process optimization. Additionally, since 2015, Min has contributed expertise in welding technology and 3D printing as part of the team at ArcelorMittal. Min also serves as Chairman of the Auto/Steel Partnership's GMAW 3rd-Gen Steel Welding Project, overseeing welding process qualification and characterizing automotive steel welds. Min earned a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Weld Design and Material Science from The Ohio State University.
