Patrick Esser

Patrick Esser has extensive experience in IT management, primarily with ArcelorMittal since October 1989, where roles have included leadership positions in Flat Products Transversal Infrastructure and various Centers of Excellence focused on Commercial Applications. Responsibilities have included overseeing IT projects and maintaining applications critical to the commercial operations of ArcelorMittal Europe across multiple locations. Prior to this, Patrick held positions at Cockerill Sambre, where key roles included Senior Manager of Commercial Processes and Systems and Project Manager. Early career experience includes a financial analyst role at Test-Aankoop/Test-Achats and an academic position as an assistant in Mathematical Analysis at the University of Liège. Patrick Esser holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Liège, along with a Master's degree in the same field.
