Patrick Pauwels

Patrick Pauwels is an experienced industrial controller at ArcelorMittal since July 2004, where responsibilities have included leading project management for European Procurement Organisation to meet 2020 savings targets, overseeing the PMO for the 24Up! project in Business Division South West, and managing the cash out project in Business Division North with direct reporting to the CFO. Prior roles at ArcelorMittal have included internal auditor in a global Career Accelerator Programme, product portfolio manager for Automotive and Electrical steels, and client technical support manager. Before joining ArcelorMittal, Patrick Pauwels served as General Manager at Verbrugge, a subsidiary of Picanol, and held various positions in Picanol, including client technical support and production manager. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven and a postgraduate degree in Business Economics from the same institution, alongside further education at Vlerick Business School.
