Roosevelt Proença holds a degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering and a Licenciatura in Mathematics, along with postgraduate qualifications in Safety Engineering and Occupational Hygiene. They have extensive experience in Occupational Safety Management across various sectors, including petrochemicals and mining, and have developed significant safety management systems, notably at USIMINAS. Currently, Roosevelt serves as a Senior Safety Engineer at ArcelorMittal and teaches Occupational Hygiene at Universidade Católica de Santos. They have also contributed to the field as a founding member of the Brazilian Circle of Occupational Hygiene and as a professor at several postgraduate programs in Safety Engineering.
