Andy Melton

Andy Melton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems engineering, business development, and consulting, currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Arcfield since September 2019 and as Principal Consultant at Melton Consulting Services, LLC since May 2014. Melton has a strong background in defense technology acquisition, particularly with the Navy Air & Missile Defense and various defense agencies, while also managing capture planning for critical proposals. As the founder and VP of Strategic Planning & Operations Research Executives, Melton engages in networking and industry trend analysis. Previous roles include VP of Business Development at Onyx Government Services, where market strategies were developed for Department of Defense sectors, and Business Development Director for RDT&E at Schafer Corporation, focusing on capture activities. Melton holds a Master’s degree in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Texas A&M University.
