Steven Wheeler has had a diverse career path, beginning in 2002 as an Ott Planetarium Assistant Director and Staff Member at Weber State University. From there, they moved on to become a Research Assistant under Dr. John E. Sohl and Dr. Colin Inglefield, where they assisted in the research of the biological effects of electromagnetic radiation and photoluminescence of semi-conductors respectively. In 2005, Steven joined the United States Navy as a Lieutenant/Division Director, Senior Instructor and Instructor, where they were responsible for the training, personal welfare and professional development of staff members, as well as auditing and ensuring all divisional members, programs, technical documents and materials maintained compliance with command requirements. In 2010, Steven joined Wasatch Photonics as a Senior Holographer / Technical Training, IT Director and Quality Manager, where they designed, trained and ensured proper use of optical testing equipment, developed and implemented DMARC policy, improved security and reduced RMA rate. Most recently, in 2021, Steven joined Arch Systems as a Technical Program Manager.
Steven Wheeler attended Weber State University from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a BA in Physics, Mathematics, and Spanish. In 2006, they began attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they earned a MAS in Aviation/Aerospace Management and Space Studies in 2010. In 2007, they obtained a Master Training Specialist certification from the United States Navy.
