John Schultz

Director, Health Care Chaplaincy Apostolate at Archcare

John Schultz has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. John began their career as the VP of Human Resources at Global Crossing/Frontier/Rochester Telephone in 1986 and held that position until 2001. From 2002 to 2011, they worked at Sirius XM Radio, where they served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In 2011, they joined Madison Square Garden as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, a role they held until 2012. John then worked as a Pro Bono Consultant at the Taproot Foundation from 2012 to 2013. John served as a Board Trustee at The Stepping Stones Foundation - Historic Home of Bill and Lois Wilson from 2013 to 2017. From 2014 onwards, they embarked on a career in chaplaincy, working as a Chaplain Fellow, Resident, and Educator at the Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Health Care System, and later as an Educator in Chaplaincy Research at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Since 2017, John has been the Director of Health Care Chaplaincy Apostolate at ArchCare.

John Schultz received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Fordham University, which they earned between the years 1981 and 1985. John then went on to pursue further education at the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Finance and Marketing. This degree was completed from 1993 to 1996. More recently, they attended Fordham University once again, starting in 2014 and concluding in 2017, to complete their Master of Arts (MA) in Pastoral Studies.
