Fred Diaz has had a long and successful career in the automotive industry. Fred began their career at Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. where they served as President & CEO and Chairman of the Board for Mitsubishi Motors North America. Fred was responsible for the strategy governance and performance optimization of Mitsubishi’s 2nd largest global focus market with $3.5B+ in annual revenue. Fred led the strategy of U.S. operations with two consecutive years of 100K+ unit sales volume to become the fastest growing Asian brand within the automotive industry in calendar years 2018 & 2019 through strong engagement with National Dealer Advisory Board. Fred was a change agent who led key strategic initiative to relocate entire North American Headquarter operations and employees from California to Tennessee to significantly improve financial performance and eliminate outdated culture of legacy thinking. Fred significantly enhanced diversity of female and multicultural ethnicity on the Executive Committee C-Suite Leadership Team from 10% to 50% diversity representation. Mitsubishi became an alliance partner of the Global Renault/Nissan/Mitsubishi Alliance in September 2016 making The Alliance the biggest Automotive Company in the world.
In April 2018, Fred Diaz left Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. to become the Director at Archer.
Fred Diaz received their Master of Business Administration from Central Michigan University and their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management with a Minor in Psychology from Texas Lutheran University.
