Heath Smoot

Heath Smoot is an expert in automated machinery design, development, and implementation, currently serving as the Senior Director of Industrialization and Automation at Archer. Previously, they held key roles at notable companies including Apple, where they worked as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, and Tesla, where they were a Senior Staff Manufacturing Engineer. From 2008 to 2016, Heath co-owned Global Manufacturing Systems, LLC, where they developed customer relations, engineering processes, and a custom CNC manufacturing department. Their early career included serving as Lead Designer at Hamblen Gage Corporation, where they honed their skills in automated machinery.
