James Gordon is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software and verification, as well as aeronautical engineering. Currently serving as the Software & Verification Engineering Focal at Archer since December 2022, James leads a team of embedded software developers and verifiers while implementing Agile methodologies. Previously, as a Senior Test Systems Engineer at Solecta, Inc., from October 2021 to December 2022, responsibilities included leading test system development and managing metrology programs. James also contributed as a Design Engineer at Qualified Technologies, focusing on the development of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems for various aircraft systems, and served as an Aeronautical Engineer in the EIR Drone Project, where expertise in drone aerodynamics and modeling was applied. James holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned in 2019.
