Joe Welle is an accomplished engineering director and composite structure technical specialist with extensive experience in aviation and aerospace. At Archer, Joe serves as the principal engineer for airframe materials and processes, leading the certification of the Midnight vehicle airframe design. Previously, Joe held various leadership roles at Cirrus Aircraft, where responsibilities included managing multi-functional engineering teams and driving innovations in airframe design. Joe also has a robust academic background, holding a Master's in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and an MBA in Engineering Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
