Marlayna Vera

Marlayna Vera is a Systems Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as a Systems Engineer for Pilot Controls/Inceptors at Archer since February 2022. Prior to this role, Marlayna worked at Safran Electronics & Defense, Avionics USA, LLC. from February 2019, where responsibilities included creating verification and validation test procedures, conducting testing, and performing failure investigations. In addition to serving as a Lead Systems Engineer for an electromechanical Throttle Control Assembly, Marlayna was involved in verification and validation activities in compliance with MIL-STD-810. Earlier experience includes a role as a Systems Engineer at Rockwell Collins and as a Mechanical and Systems Engineer Intern. Marlayna holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine and a certification in Fundamentals of Systems Engineering from Caltech CTME.
