Nick Macdonald

Special Advisor, Entry Into Service

Nick Macdonald is an experienced aviation professional with a strong background in customer support, engineering, and innovative aircraft design. At Airbus, roles included Customer Support Director for Asia Pacific, overseeing support for major airlines and managing an experimental A380, as well as fulfilling functions as Executive Technical Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Systems Engineering. Nick led high-profile projects, such as the award-winning fello'fly demonstrator, and contributed to various teams throughout the Airbus organization. After Airbus, Nick served as VP of Liquid Hydrogen Engineering at Universal Hydrogen, focusing on modular hydrogen solutions for carbon-free flight, and then took on the role of Special Advisor at Archer, preparing for the entry into service of the Midnight eVTOL. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Physics from Imperial College London and a research project at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne.
