Tom Gray

Tom Gray is an accomplished experimental test pilot at Archer Aviation, utilizing extensive expertise in FAA certification and experimental airworthiness. With over 23 years in the aerospace industry, Tom has logged more than 6,000 flight hours across 41 military and commercial aircraft and rotorcraft, specializing in FAA Part 23 aircraft and systems certification. Previous roles include principal engineer at Overair, test pilot at Garmin AT, and director of quality assurance at Eclipse Aviation. Tom also has a military background as a U.S. Navy aviator, where they were appointed electronic warfare department head and author of a training manual. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Tulane University, Tom also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
