Chris Haar

Chris Haar has had a diverse work experience in the design and manufacturing industry. Chris started their career at Freewheel Bike as a Sales Associate from 2004 to 2010. Chris then joined Nordquist Sign Company and held various roles including Designer, Interim Director of Design, and Senior Designer. During their time there, they developed design standards, created conceptual designs for architectural products, and managed outgoing artwork for manufacturing.

In 2010, Haar also worked as a Discussion Forum Moderator at Core77.com, where they helped build and maintain a healthy discussion community.

In 2011, Haar joined Archetype as a Senior Project Designer and became responsible for leading national and international signage projects. Chris also served as Chief Design Officer and Director of IT and Technology. Their role involved improving design experiences for clients and teams, supporting research on fabrication methods, and staying updated on manufacturing technologies and materials.

In 2013, Haar joined Sharp Creative as a Sign Production Manager. This role involved overseeing sign production operations.

Throughout their career, Haar demonstrated a strong focus on design, project management, and integrating innovative technologies into their work.

From 1998 to 2003, Chris Haar attended Iowa State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Fine/Studio Arts, General.
