Mark began their career in 2005 as Vice President-Director of Operations at FoodXpress, where they developed a unique strategy with startup staff and investment group to build and grow web based e-commerce company. In 2007, they became Director Business Development at Crest Foods, Inc., where they developed all Franchise development including overall partner management, financial analysis, marketing and brand management. Mark also generated new business through growth into the international marketplace. In 2010, they became National Director of Sales at Walkingspree, where they created and implemented new initiatives, resulting in a 300% increase in Company revenue. Mark also identified new revenue through Reseller and Direct Sales campaigns. In 2013, they became Vice President at higi, where they were accountable for all B2B client programs including overall customer satisfaction. Mark also created new revenue channels through sales of hardware and SaaS applications and strengthened the company's business by leading implementation of all direct and Reseller sales and marketing efforts. In 2019, they became National Strategic Account Manager at Preferred Lease, where they sold, lead, and provided aggressive technology platform tools that assist National clients in securing financing services. In 2021, they became Enterprise Account Executive at Archipelago, an AI-driven property risk platform, where they created and implemented new sales strategies to sell into the C-Suite, primarily at the CEO and CFO level. Mark also developed corporate opportunities, new verticals in Retail and Healthcare enterprise accounts.
Mark Tipsword obtained a Professional Certification in Strategic Account Management from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Western Illinois University.
