Erol Kavas

Erol Kavas is the TechOps Lead at Architech. Erol has previously worked as a DevOps Architect at Architech, a Lead Devops Engineer at Nest Wealth, and an OPS Technical Lead at VM Farms. Erol is experienced in managing and monitoring deployment pipelines, AWS/GCP infrastructure, Ansible, Sensu, Jenkins CI/CD, MongoDB/Atlas, MYSQL/Aurora, Docker, Vagrant, Consul/Vault, Terraform/Packer, Grafana, Docker, Kubernetes/Swarm/Fargate/ECS, Redis/ElastiCache, NPM Registry, AWS/GCP, Bash/Ruby/Python/PHP.

Erol Kavas has a PhD in Sociology from Marmara University, an MSc in MIS from Yeditepe University, and a BS in Economics from Istanbul University. Erol is certified by Microsoft as an Azure Data Fundamentals Specialist, by The Open Group as a TOGAF 9 Certified Specialist, and by Amazon Web Services as an AWS Partner Accreditation (Technical) Specialist. Erol is also certified by the Python Institute as a PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer and by Rancher Labs as a Certified Rancher Operator: Level One.
