Frank Yang is a senior software engineer at Architech. Frank previously worked as a senior front-end web developer at The Globe & Mail from October 2005 to July 2018. At The Globe & Mail, Frank rebuilt the member centre portal for management of personal information, privacy settings and subscription service changes. Frank also built an internal marketing tool for real-time management of SAP-integrated subscription offers and multi-platform subscription funnel for print and digital products.

In addition, Frank designed and built from ground up a site-wide web analytics framework in javascript as replacement for Adobe Analytics. Frank also deployed Ensighten tag management and data layer on web properties to support advanced user analytic and data collection. Frank led multiple site-wide rebuilds of video offerings on theglobeandmail.com, managing all ends of editorial, business, advertising, and technical requirements with company record-setting results.

Frank also played a key role in multiple full front- and back-end rebuilds of theglobeandmail.com, each time incorporating new designs, functionality, and content management systems. Frank also acted as project and scrum master on relaunch of Globe Life website vertical; led major launches for Automotive, Real Estate, Sports, and Obituaries web properties on theglobeandmail.com.

Frank Yang completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Frank also holds a certificate in Internet Management from Humber College.

They work with Daren Hanson - Chief Revenue Officer, Darcy Reaume - Design Lead, and Lara Shewchuk - Head of Finance and Operations. Frank Yang reports to David Suydam, CEO & Founder.
