Wind engineering for ambitious buildings.

Tall towers. Stadia. Iconic structures. Masterplans. Microclimates that need to stand up to scrutiny.

ArcAero is an independent wind engineering consultancy with offices in the UK and Malaysia. Across 600+ ArcAero projects - and many hundreds more across our directors' careers before - we've helped clients secure planning consent, get the structure right, and bring complex designs through to delivery.

WHAT WE DO

→ Wind microclimate studies that hold up under any local authority's scrutiny
→ Structural and façade wind loading for tall, slender, and dynamically-sensitive buildings
→ Building motion predictions and serviceability checks
→ Stadia and iconic venues - roof loads, bowl comfort, façade pressures, dynamic response
→ Peer review, expert witness, planning inquiry representation
→ Anemometer installation, monitoring and advisory systems
→ Runway impact studies

OUR APPROACH

We use whatever method the project needs - code-based desk study, CFD, or wind tunnel - and tell you honestly which one is right. Wind engineering is the only thing we do.

Every project is senior-led. Directors are involved on every job, not just at sign-off.

WHERE WE WORK

London-based, with active projects across Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff and the wider UK. We're usually the wind specialist who'll actually get on a train to your site - wherever that site happens to be.

Methodology, timescale, cost - three connected factors that can make or break a project. We'll help you get them right.
