Michael Harrison

Michael Harrison has extensive experience in urban design and planning, currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Architectus since 1985. Under Michael Harrison's leadership, the Architectus Urban Design and Planning team, consisting of approximately 25 professionals, is recognized for its strategic approach to architecture and public domain management, ensuring a balanced consideration of public and private interests while effectively navigating the development approval process for significant urban projects. Previously, Michael Harrison held the position of Director of City Strategy and Design at Sydney City Council from 2007 to 2011. Michael Harrison's educational background includes a Master of City Planning and a Master of Architecture with a focus on Urban Design from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an Associateship in Architecture from the Western Australian Institute of Technology.
