Fareed Shawky is an experienced urban planner and manager with a substantial background in planning and design across various roles and organizations. Currently serving as the manager of the Oman branch at ARCHPLAN since April 2016, Fareed has previously held positions including Senior Planning Department at Al Muhaid Consultants Engineers and Senior Planning Engineer at ARCHPLAN. Skills encompass regional planning, strategic analysis, urban design, and landscape architecture, demonstrated through involvement in diverse projects ranging from national initiatives for the Egyptian armed forces to urban development at Slsabel Office. Fareed holds a degree with distinction in Urban Planning & Urban Design from Alazhar University, completed in 2005.

Is a multidisciplinary engineering firm formed in Cairo in 1985 by Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour. Prof. Ashour -Professor of architecture , Ain Shams University- is considered a pioneer in the field of urban development to which his credentials and contributions are clearly reflected in the projects completed and the list of awards received from several governmental and scientific authorities.
