Calvin Wong has over 20 years of work experience. In 2000, they began their career as a Tutor/Technician/Lab Assistant at CCSF Instructional Computing Lab 1. In 2003, they worked as an I.T. for the San Francisco Baking Institute. In 2006, they worked as a Web Developer/Sub Contractor for New Eras Media. From 2007 to 2020, they worked as a Co-Founder/Developer/Photographer for ZeroDayPhoto.com. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Jr. Systems Administrator and Data Center Technician for FriendFinder Networks, Inc. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Systems Administrator and Jr. Systems Administrator for SugarSync. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Site Reliability Engineer for ClearSlide. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer for Reflektion. Since 2020, they have been working as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for Openfit. Calvin is currently working as a DevOps Engineer for Archy since 2022.

Calvin Wong attended San Francisco State University from 1999 to 2001, where they studied General Education. Calvin then attended City College of San Francisco from 2000 to 2004, where they earned Certificates in Computer Science. Finally, they attended Diablo Valley College from 2005 to 2006, where they earned an Associate of Arts in General Study.
