Sergiu Carpov

Sergiu Carpov is a Senior Cryptographer at Arcium since August 2024, previously holding the same position at Inpher from December 2019 to August 2024, where focus was on Homomorphic Encryption and Multi-Party Computation for practical Privacy-Preserving Computations. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Research Engineer at CEA from March 2008 to December 2019, contributing to the design of a data-flow compiler for a 256-core architecture and working on program rewriting techniques and graph mapping. Sergiu also completed a PhD at Université de Technologie de Compiègne with a thesis on scheduling for memory management in embedded multi-core architectures, alongside a Master's degree in Information Technology Systems from the same institution and an undergraduate engineering degree in Informational Technologies from Universitatea Tehnică a Moldovei. Early career experience includes software engineering at Endava.
