Johnny Beck

Regional Account Director at Arcom Digital

Johnny Beck has a diverse work experience in the cable industry. Johnny started their career in 1982 as an installer with Summit Cable Services, eventually being promoted to Senior Technician when the company was acquired by Time Warner. Johnny then worked as a System/General/Headend/Plant Manager at Lexcom Cable Services, where they oversaw operations, programming contracts, FCC policy adherence, and administrative functions.

In 1999, Johnny joined the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers as a board member for the Piedmont Chapter, actively involved for 13 years. Johnny served on the chapter board, made presentations at various sites, emceed vendor exhibitions and golf outings, chaired committees for technical sessions and vendor exhibitions, and attended Cable-Tec expos and Chapter Leader Conferences.

Johnny later worked as an Account Manager at Mega Hertz, a Value-Added-Reseller focused on the "All-Digital" transition in the cable and IPTV industries. Johnny then became a Regional Manager at 2SG tech, a Manufacturer's Representative firm for broadband equipment suppliers.

Currently, Johnny is working at Arcom Digital as a Regional Account Director, responsible for managing accounts in the New England region. Prior to this role, they were a Field Engineer at Arcom Labs.

Throughout their career, Johnny has developed strong partnerships with industry leaders and gained extensive knowledge and experience in the cable industry.

Johnny Beck attended Arapahoe Community College and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Broadband Management, completing their studies in 2004. From 1984 to 2004, they also pursued a certification in CATV installation, maintenance, engineering, and management at the National Cable Television Institute. In 2010, Johnny received a certification in Action Selling from The Sales Board.
