Abdul Rafay

Abdul Rafay is a Mechanical Engineer at ARCO/Murray since June 2022, responsible for designing HVAC systems for commercial buildings and developing Revit models, along with performing energy modeling using IESVE and OpenStudio for cost and energy optimization. Previously, Abdul served as an IT Support Technician at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, providing technical support to faculty and students, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and managing system updates. Abdul has also held leadership roles as Vice President of the Muslim Students of University of Miami, where organizational connections were fostered among students of diverse faiths, and as an Engineering Tutor, mentoring over 50 engineering students in complex subjects. Abdul's early experience includes working as a Front Desk Assistant at the University of Miami, coordinating technical assistance and managing logistical support for staff. Abdul holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami and completed Cambridge University Advanced Level studies at Benchmark School System.
