Alec Lohmann

Alec Lohmann is an experienced automation project engineer currently employed at Environmental Systems Design, Inc. since February 2021. Prior roles include Controls Systems Designer II at Johnson Controls and Systems Engineer at Siemens, where significant contributions were made to projects such as the Chicago West Loop McDonald's national headquarters and various downtown Chicago skyscrapers. Earlier experience includes a Systems Application Engineer role at Schneider Electric, where design efforts for HVAC, lighting, and power metering systems were led. Alec's career began as an Engineering Tech at Resolute Energy Corporation, where analyses of rod pump designs and production data were conducted, and as an Operations Engineering Intern, where support was provided for gas sampling system design and construction project documentation. Alec holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics from Northwestern University.
