Cory Yates

Cory Yates has extensive experience in the manufacturing and logistics sectors, currently serving as a Scrap Metal Buyer at Arconic since August 2015, where responsibilities include coordinating the processing of automotive aluminum to meet customer demands. Yates has previously held positions at Arconic as Production Crew Leader, OSP Planner, and Transportation Coordinator, facilitating timely shipments of materials across the United States. Prior experience includes working in Central Dispatch at Alcoa, ensuring on-time shipments throughout North America, and serving as a Materials Handler at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Yates also has military experience as a Field Artillery member in the U.S. Army. Educational credentials include an MBA in Business Administration from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee and a BA in Political Science and Government from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
