Duane Bird is a seasoned Cast House Operations Manager and Casting Specialist with extensive experience in improving operational efficiency within the aluminum industry. They have held key positions at Arconic, where they managed cast house operations and implemented process improvements across multiple facilities. With a background in supply chain management and operations from their time at Vista Metals Corp., Duane has consistently driven initiatives that enhance recovery and utilization of resources. They earned an Associate's degree in Electrical Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from Hamilton Technical College. Currently, Duane continues to lead efforts in enhancing ingot casting operations at Arconic.
