Ed Williams

Ed Williams is an experienced professional in the aluminum manufacturing sector, currently serving as the Director of Casting and Metal Management at Arconic since November 2016. In this role, Ed supports global manufacturing operations, overseeing a team of 21 engineers. Previously, Ed held the position of Casting Technology Manager at Arconic, focusing on cast house technology and operational support. Prior to joining Arconic, Ed worked at Alcoa from September 2000 to November 2016, managing the R&D casting technology division and supervising 70 engineers and technicians. Ed began a career in the industry at Reynolds Metals Company, contributing to advancements in aluminum continuous casting processes and emissions. Ed holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, achieved from 1987 to 1991.
