Simon Bates is currently the President of Building & Construction Systems at Arconic, where they lead initiatives in specialty construction chemicals and building products for a global market. Previously, Simon held significant leadership roles, including President and Chief Executive Officer at GCP Applied Technologies and Chief Executive Officer at Argos USA. With a robust background in sales, marketing, and operations, Simon has also served as Senior Vice President at Westlake Chemical and Royal Building Products, overseeing operations with substantial revenue responsibilities. Simon holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of York, complemented by diplomas in Marketing and Accounting & Finance from The University of Salford and The University of Manchester, respectively.
