Billy Blake is an accomplished geotechnical engineer with six years of experience across Queensland and parts of New South Wales and Victoria. Currently serving as the Director and Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Arcos Group since April 2019, Billy has previously held key positions such as Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Sunshine Coast Office Manager at Protest Engineering Pty Ltd, as well as Geotechnical Engineer and Project Manager at Douglas Partners Pty Ltd. Billy's expertise encompasses design, supervision, and management of ground investigations, site inspections, slope stability analysis, risk and hazard assessments, soil and rock mechanics, in-situ testing, and earthworks. Additionally, Billy has a background in civil/structural engineering, having worked as an undergraduate engineer at AAA Design & Development Pty Ltd, and gained diverse experience with event management during employment at IRONMAN Asia Pacific.
