Andrew Yip

Andrew Yip is an experienced materials expert, currently serving as the Senior Director of Materials - Advanced Concepts at Arc'teryx Equipment since August 2023. Prior to this role, Andrew held positions including Head of Materials and Process Innovation at PANGAIA and various management roles at adidas, where contributions included leading sustainable material innovations and managing partnerships for bio-polymer development. Previous experience encompasses material development at The North Face and educational roles at UC Santa Barbara, where Andrew taught physics and conducted research in materials science. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science in Materials Science from UC Santa Barbara.
