Fred Norton

Director, Brand Strategy at Arc'teryx

Fred Norton has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Fred is currently the Director of Brand Strategy at Arc'teryx Equipment since August 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Brand Product Marketing from December 2019 to August 2022. Before joining Arc'teryx, Fred worked as the Senior Product Marketing Manager at the same company from November 2018 to December 2019 and as the Product Marketing Manager from June 2017 to November 2018.

Before their tenure at Arc'teryx, Fred worked at STONZ as the Sales and Marketing Manager from July 2012 to June 2017. During this time, they drove growth across multiple channels, managed key retail accounts, built partnerships, and activated new markets and products. Fred also implemented various tools such as Tableau, Salesforce, Handshake, and Zendesk to enhance business efficiency.

Prior to STONZ, Fred worked at Firefly Tonics Ltd. as the Head of UK Sales and Social Media from May 2009 to March 2012. In this role, they managed the wholesale and retail business in the UK, implemented sales strategies, and developed trade marketing initiatives.

Fred's earlier work experience includes a role as a Freelance Junior BDM at Jefferson Wells from September 2008 to January 2009, where they were responsible for making preliminary contact with senior executives of FTSE 100 companies. Fred also worked as a Language Assistant at the British Council from September 2006 to July 2007.

Fred Norton attended Downside School from 1998 to 2003, where they completed their A-Levels in French, Italian, and Theology. Fred later attended the University of Exeter from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a 2:1 Bachelor's degree in Combined Honours with a field of study in French and Italian.
