Howard Lichter

Howard Lichter has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Howard currently holds the position of VP at Arc'teryx Equipment, serving as the VP of the Tokyo Design Center since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ARRIVAL as the VP of Special Projects from February 2021 to May 2022. Howard also has an extensive background at Nike, where they held various creative and design-related roles. These include serving as the senior director of creative outreach from January 2011 to December 2020, global creative director of retail from October 2009 to January 2011, creative director of the Tokyo design studio from April 2004 to October 2009, creative director of Asia Pacific brand design from April 2001 to April 2004, design director of global brand design from August 1999 to April 2001, and starting their career as a Senior Designer from August 1996 to August 1999.

Howard Lichter has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial Design from the University of Washington. Howard also studied Fine Arts at the Urasenke Senmon Gakku. Additionally, they attended the Western College of Auctioneering, although the specific field of study or degree earned from this institution is unknown.
