Mark Smitherman has held various roles in the finance and insurance industry since 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they were Head of Distribution for Euler Hermes, covering UAE, Qatar, Oman & Bahrain, Head of HSBC Relationship GCC, HSBC Partnership Manager, Regional Sales Manager-Bank Distribution, and Business Development Manager Credit Insurance at Euler Hermes. From 2014 to 2016, they were Commercial Director Coface at Oman Insurance PSC. From 2016 to 2019, they were Commercial Director at Coface Credit Insurance, Managing Director at Justprivatejets, and Executive Director Sales at Sixt. Currently, they are Sales Director EMEA AMERICAS at Arctic Intelligence, a Global RegTech providing compliance software to its clients.

Mark Smitherman attended Fulston Manor School from 1987 to 1993. Mark then attended Mid Kent College from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians.
