Pierre Bilodeau, PhD, is a dynamic and results-driven executive with over 25 years of leadership experience at the intersection of science, innovation, and policy. They currently serve as President & CEO of ArcticNet, leading Canada's national Arctic research network through its transformation into an independent, sustainable non-profit and advancing inclusive research partnerships, domestic and international collaborations, and knowledge mobilization to address climate change, socio-economic transformation, and Arctic sovereignty. They also serve on the Canada Foundation for Innovation board (GIC appointed) since 2024. Their past leadership includes Executive Director, Plant Health Science at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (2017–2021) and Senior Director, Plant Health Science Division (2016–2017), as well as roles at the Standards Council of Canada, ISTPCanada, NSERC, Alberta Research Council, Medicago, CSIRO, and Université Laval.
