Ewan Johnson

Ewan Johnson has a long history of work experience in the creative industry. Ewan began their career in 1991 as a Programmer at Editel, where they designed and implemented pipelines for commercial post production. In 1994, they joined Pixar Animation Studios as a Supervising Layout Artist and Master Lighter where they were responsible for the technical and artistic supervision of the layout department. In 2003, they moved to Dreamworks Animation where they worked as a Previz/Rough Layout Artist and Head of Layout. In 2015, they held the role of Manager at Hatchbee, LLC, Creative Director and Animation Director at River Studios, and Artist in Residence at Rothenberg Ventures. Since 2016, they have been employed at Arcturus as Chief Product Officer and Chief Creative Officer.

Ewan Johnson attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art & Technology.
