Kana Waanders

Kana Waanders is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience at Arcules since October 2017, currently serving as Lead Senior Software Engineer. Expertise includes developing microservices and microapps using Go and Python, as well as managing databases such as Postgres, MySQL, and Arango graph. Responsibilities also encompass maintaining machine learning models and deploying services on Google Cloud using Kubernetes and Docker. Previously, Kana was a Data Science Intern, focused on training data collection and analysis for machine learning applications. Prior roles include Administrative Assistant at UC San Diego Health and Peer Advisor at UCSB Department of Mathematics. Kana holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences from UC Santa Barbara.
