Michael Ridgett

Director Of People Excellence at Arcus FM

Michael Ridgett has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Starting in 2001, they worked at Sanofi where they held several positions, including Head of People Development and Production Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for HR and L&D Business Partnering, leadership development, talent management, and process improvement. From 2013 to 2015, Ridgett was the Head of People at Arcus Solutions Ltd, overseeing the people strategy and L&D strategy for the company. Finally, from 2015 onwards, they joined Arcus FM as the Learning and Engagement Director and later as the Interim People Director.

Michael Ridgett has a diverse education history. Michael attended Coopers Company and Coborn School from 1988 to 1990, but did not obtain a degree or field of study during this time. From 1990 to 1994, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics at Coventry University. Later, in 1997 to 1999, Michael completed a Diploma in Production and Inventory Management at Anglia Ruskin University. In 2010 to 2012, they furthered their education by achieving a CIPD Level 7 advanced diploma in Human Resources Development from CIPD. Currently, Michael is pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Aberdeen, starting in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Kaizen and is an Accredited NLP Practitioner from NLP School, although the specific duration of these certifications is unknown.
