Mark Fleming

Mark Fleming, CFA, currently serves as Group Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Ardagh Group since January 2022. Previously, Mark held the position of Transaction Director at FirstGroup plc, managing significant disposals within the company. Mark's experience in M&A includes serving as Co-Head of M&A Integration during the monumental £78.4 billion acquisition of SABMiller by Anheuser-Busch InBev. Prior roles at SABMiller included Global Head of M&A and Corporate Development, where Mark led a team and managed high-stakes negotiations, notably the response to the unsolicited bid from AB InBev. Mark's career began in audit and assurance at PKF South Africa and transaction services at PwC. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand.
