David Ryan

David Ryan has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance field. David is currently serving as the Vice President, Legal and Chief Compliance Officer at Ardelyx, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Epizyme as the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer. From 2012 to 2018, they held the position of Vice President, Associate General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer at Haemonetics. During this time, they were responsible for establishing global legal compliance and ethics strategies, implementing comprehensive compliance programs, and conducting training for the global workforce. Before joining Haemonetics, David worked at AMAG Pharmaceuticals as the Vice President of Legal Affairs, Assistant General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, they provided legal advice on various matters and oversaw compliance programs. David began their career at Nixon Peabody LLP, where they served as Deputy Practice Group Leader, Government Investigations and White Collar Defense Group, and Partner. Their practice primarily focused on representing pharmaceutical and biotechology companies, providing counsel on pricing, regulatory affairs, compliance programs, and government investigations.

David Ryan attended Cornell University, where they obtained an A.B. degree in Government. After completing their undergraduate education, they continued their studies at Boston College Law School, where they earned a J.D. degree in Law.
