Willi Huang

Willi Huang has extensive experience in supply chain management and operations. Willi has held various senior positions in different companies.

From 1980 to 1989, they worked as a Production Superintendent at Nashua Corporation, where they were responsible for overseeing production operations.

From 1989 to 1996, they served as the MRP II Director at Engelhard Corporation. In this role, they led the division's MRP II Department and implemented business process reengineering activities to improve operational efficiency.

In 1996, Willi worked as a Consultant at Merck, where they provided consulting services in supply chain operations.

From 1996 to 2005, they served as the Managing Director at Optimum, Inc., a global supply chain business consulting firm. Willi collaborated with senior management teams in the pharmaceutical industry to deliver supply chain best-practice solutions.

From 2005 to 2009, they worked at Genentech, Inc. as the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Business Process and Customer Relationship Management. Here, they led large cross-functional teams in delivering SAP ERP systems and managing operations intelligence data.

From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Management Consultant at Softpath System LLC.

From 2010 to 2014, they held the role of Director of Supply Chain and Material Management at Impax Laboratories, where they managed manufacturing and packaging planning and led global supply chain planning and material management.

From 2010 to 2010, they briefly served as a Senior Manager of Business Process Improvement at Juniper Networks.

From 2014 to 2019, they returned to Impax Laboratories and worked as the Director of Global Supply Chain Planning and External Manufacturing & Packaging. In this role, they managed global demand and supply planning and implemented supply network planning processes.

Since 2019, Willi has been working at Ardelyx, Inc. In their current role as VP of Supply Chain, they are responsible for strategic clinical and commercial supply chain management and CMO selection and management. Willi also leads the implementation of a comprehensive supply chain strategy.

Willi Huang obtained a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick. Willi attended the university from 1978 to 1980. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University, where they studied from 1971 to 1975.
