Yang Yang

Yang Yang has a diverse work experience in the field of biometrics and statistics. Yang started their career as an Instructor/Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University from August 2005 to December 2007. After that, they worked as a Mathematical Statistician at the Food and Drug Administration from March 2008 to September 2011. Yang then joined Santen in October 2011 as the Director and Head of Biostatistics, where they worked until September 2018. Yang currently works at Ardelyx, Inc., where they have held various roles including Director of Biometrics from September 2018 to January 2020, Sr. Director of Biometrics from January 2020 onwards, and recently appointed as the VP of Biometrics from January 2022.

Yang Yang obtained a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Stony Brook University. Prior to that, Yang Yang pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computational Mathematics from Wuhan University. Additionally, Yang Yang also earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics as a minor field of study from Wuhan University. The exact start and end years for these educational experiences are unknown.
