IDENTITY

The word “ARDEVUR” was coined in 2016 by the company’s founder Gabriele Areolite, from the combination of Afrikaans words “Aarde” (Earth) and “Vuur” (Fire). Just like raw minerals are mined from the Earth and forged in the Fire to become Metal, our team turns precious ideas into the fire of expertise and turns opportunities into long-lasting relationships. Facing today’s everchanging market and its challenges, ARDEVUR can adapt its strategy fast while firmly standing upon its values, maintaining its long-standing reputation and distinctive ethics that have allowed its place in the market.

SUSTAINABILITY

ARDEVUR is active across the metal recycling supply chain, feeding the circular economy. Within the mining sector, ARDEVUR focuses on critical materials destined to the production and use of renewable energy, such as Batteries, Electric Vehicles, Power Systems, and so forth.

In 2020, ARDEVUR launched the digital platform “ARDEVUR Marketplace”, and has since been pioneering in the digitalisation of metal trading, proudly and bravely striving to bring an innovative viewpoint into a conservative market that shines within its traditions.
