Stefan Loska

Stefan Loska has a diverse work experience in various scientific and research roles. Stefan started their career as a Research Student at the Medical University of Warsaw, where they gained experience in analyzing cytokine levels and collecting dust samples. Stefan then worked at the North West Cancer Research Fund Institute in Bangor, first as a Research Student, where they discovered the interaction between C-TAK1 and 14-3-3 proteins, and later as a Research Student, where they performed protein microarray screening. After that, Stefan joined the University of Manchester as a PhD Student, where their research focused on the regulation of ULK1 in autophagy, and they made significant contributions in finding ULK1 upstream kinase and novel ULK1 substrates. Stefan then worked as a Research Assistant at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, collaborating with molecular biologists and gaining experience in gene expression microarray and quantitative MS data analysis. Stefan later served as a Team Lead and Data Entry Contributor at Upwork, where they demonstrated leadership skills and contributed to various projects. Most recently, they worked as a Senior Scientist in Bioinformatics and Data Science at Ardigen S.A., where they utilized their expertise in bioinformatics and data science. Currently, Stefan is an R developer at Seargin, where they continue to apply their skills in programming.

Stefan Loska completed their education in molecular biology from The University of Manchester, where they obtained a PhD degree from 2008 to 2011. Before that, they completed their MSc in biochemistry from Jagiellonian University, which they attended from 2002 to 2007. Their education history also includes attending Jan III Sobieski High School in Kraków from 1998 to 2002, although no degree was mentioned.
