AREA is a furniture & interior design brand launched by parent company NODA Japan in 2003. Creating the world’s best “Made in Japan” high-end furniture and fixtures with showrooms spanning Tokyo, Osaka, Kamakura, Paris, and now, New York.

AREA's allure lies not in nostalgic Japanese design but in the emergence of new designs unique to contemporary Japan. While respecting the traditional designs passed down from around the world, including furniture, architecture, traditional crafts, and fashion, AREA incorporates expressions brought forth by various designers. Creative designs are integrated into the products, which are developed based on carefully crafted concept sets each year and presented to the world.
