Markus Kopp

Markus Kopp currently serves as Managing Director of GRK Gruppe since January 2022 and is the Founder of Kopp Industriebeteiligungen und Beratung GmbH since September 2020. Additionally, Kopp holds the position of Chief Advisor for Aviation/Logistics at Area9 Group, a role started in June 2020. As Chairman of the Regional Board of Directors for the German-Chinese Business Association since November 2017 and a Member of Deutsche Bank's Advisory Board since March 2014, Kopp's influence extends across multiple sectors. Kopp also serves as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Saxony since May 2011. Previous experience includes managing partner and senior advisor at Adversis Pharma and executive roles within the European Central German Metropolitan Region and Mitteldeutsche Airport Holding, where Kopp played a key role in strategy development for central German airports. Earlier career highlights include a position as Head of Executive Office for Aviation Services and Human Resources at Lufthansa Group. Kopp holds a degree in Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt and completed an apprenticeship in air transport management.
